Outsmarted by a One-Year Old

I received a frantic call late one evening from my sister-in-law, "Did the twins leave their binkies (blankets) at your house?" Sure enough, there they were sitting on the chair in the living room. The forgotten blankets warranted the efforts of a late night trip to pick them up, because no one would get any sleep until they were returned to their rightful owners. This incident in combination with other horror stories of misplaced or lost blankets scared me. As cute as they were dragging around their little pink and blue blankets with them everywhere they went, I was determined to sidestep the drama.
